RONE Award Nominee!

I'm so happy to report that Chasing Hope, my latest contemporary romance, was nominated for the prestigious RONE Award through InD'tale Magazine. To be nominated, the book must be reviewed in the magazine and score 4.5-5 Stars, with the Crowned Heart for Excellence. Round Two of the competition is reader voting and our category runs May 4-10.

Social Distancing

I have worked from home since I retired in 2013 so basically I am home every day all day long. Hubby and I have established a routine for our together time and then we venture off to our own tasks. That schedule worked great until I HAD to stay home. Now, all of sudden, all I can think about is "I need to go somewhere".

Thanks, Bill

One act of kindnessWe've all heard that you don't always know how your actions (or inactions) affect others.  A simple smile or kind word can mean all the world to someone. I got one of those smiles when I was a freshman in high school. We won't discuss how many years ago that was, but I still remember it to this day.

I Am an Ornament Junkie

I am an ornament junkieI am one of those people who has no issue with Christmas stuff being out before Halloween. I could spend hours in hobby and craft stores—in fact, I have. I can look at something and go "oh I can make something with that" or I will sift through the ornaments and find that just right one for a special person or the one that is so off the wall I just have to put it on my tree.
